Sixth Sense (a sensory response to 6 seasons)

Local Bardi culture recognises six seasons mostly related to wind and rainfall direction and intensity, correlating to the availability of water and food. This work combines reduction lino printing with gouache overpainting to depict seasonal, emotional and cultural transformations in accordance with the natural world.
