Vivienne is an award-winning abstract figurative artist, living on country in remote Western Australia. Her artworks are exhibited and collected around the world.
Life-long artist, university lecturer and teacher Vivienne’s chief subject is the Australian landscape, local characters and wildlife, the human condition and the immense intractable landmass itself. A synaesthesia of time, place and identity.
Her abstract figurative works on paper reference her university training in drawing and printmaking. Confident, unique and colourful artworks depict a deeply intuitive response to each subject. Currently living and working immersed in Bardi Country and Culture in the North West Kimberley region of Australia, she is presented daily with a unique way of seeing.
